This jam was created for a third grade exercise dance class who had choreographed an elaborate routine to House of Pain's "Jump Around." They decided that some of the lyrics were inappropriate and approached me with rewriting the song and making it about exercise. So I rewrote House of Pain's lyrics in the same rhymescheme they were written in without using their words.
Seth Warren Crow (Formerly of Okkervil River, Antler Antennas) reproduced the beat using live drums to replace the breaks and stylophone to recreate the whine sample. He also provides chorus backup vox.
